Home Terms of Use

Terms of Use

By accessing the Inside Diagnostics website or requesting services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Independent Asbestos Testing Services

Inside Diagnostics LLC provides asbestos inspection, testing, suspect material sampling, pre-renovation survey documentation, pre-demolition survey documentation, and related reporting services for homeowners, contractors, property owners, landlords, property managers, buyers, and project teams.

Services may include visual review of the stated work area, identification of accessible suspect materials, sample collection when appropriate, laboratory coordination, and written documentation based on the agreed service and project scope.

Inside Diagnostics does not perform asbestos abatement, asbestos removal, demolition, construction, remediation, cleanup, encapsulation, or repair work.

Service Area

Inside Diagnostics provides services by appointment throughout Westchester County, Putnam County, Dutchess County, Rockland County, and Orange County, New York.

Availability, travel, scheduling, pricing, and the ability to accept a project may depend on the property location, requested service, project scope, accessibility, timing, and other relevant conditions.

Laboratory Testing and Third-Party Analysis

Certain services may involve asbestos sample analysis performed by an appropriate third-party laboratory. Laboratory analysis, testing methods, reporting formats, and turnaround times may vary depending on the sample, requested testing method, laboratory workload, shipping or delivery conditions, and other factors outside the direct control of Inside Diagnostics.

Inside Diagnostics does not guarantee laboratory processing times, test outcomes, property conditions, or that a specific result will be obtained.

Testing Scope and Limitations

Inspection, testing, sampling, and reporting are limited to the specific service requested, the agreed project scope, the areas or materials evaluated, the samples collected, the testing method used, and the property conditions present at the time of service.

Reports should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a property, structure, room, or work area is free of asbestos or other hazardous materials. Materials, layers, areas, structures, or conditions outside the stated scope are not included unless specifically evaluated and documented.

Concealed, inaccessible, covered, hidden, or undisclosed materials may not be identified during a visual inspection or limited survey. Additional inspection or sampling may be necessary if materials are later uncovered or the project scope changes.

No report should be understood as a general property clearance, air clearance, safety guarantee, or certification of conditions beyond the stated inspection, testing, or sampling scope.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate property information, access details, project scope, known concerns, deadlines, contractor requests, renovation or demolition plans, and other relevant information needed to evaluate and perform the requested service.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that Inside Diagnostics has lawful permission to enter the property, inspect the requested areas, and collect samples from the materials included in the agreed scope.

Inside Diagnostics is not responsible for undisclosed conditions, hidden materials, inaccessible areas, inaccurate property information, changes in the work scope, or decisions made outside the stated inspection, testing, sampling, and reporting scope.

Property Access and Sampling

Asbestos sampling may require the removal of a small portion of a building material. The client understands that minor cosmetic damage, marks, openings, or changes to the sampled material may occur as part of the sampling process.

Unless specifically agreed in writing, Inside Diagnostics does not perform permanent repairs, painting, refinishing, reconstruction, waterproofing, roofing repair, or restoration of sampled areas.

Sampling may be declined, limited, or postponed when an area is unsafe, inaccessible, actively under construction, contaminated, structurally unstable, located at an unsafe height, or otherwise unsuitable for sampling.

No Abatement, Removal, or Remediation

Inside Diagnostics provides independent inspection, testing, sampling, and documentation services only. Any asbestos abatement, removal, encapsulation, demolition, remediation, cleanup, repair, or reconstruction work must be evaluated and performed by appropriately qualified and licensed third parties.

If asbestos-containing material is identified and may be disturbed, clients should consult properly licensed asbestos professionals regarding next steps.

Reports and Use of Results

Reports and laboratory results are prepared for the client and the stated project scope. They may be shared with contractors, property professionals, consultants, government agencies, or other project participants at the client's direction.

Inside Diagnostics is not responsible for alterations, summaries, interpretations, omissions, or decisions made by third parties after a report or laboratory result has been issued.

By contacting Inside Diagnostics, submitting a form, calling, texting, or requesting services, you consent to communication by phone, text message, or email regarding inquiries, scheduling, appointments, project scope, testing, laboratory coordination, reports, invoices, and requested services.
