By accessing the Inside Diagnostics website or requesting services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Independent Environmental Diagnostic Services
Inside Diagnostics LLC provides independent environmental inspection, assessment, testing, sampling, screening, documentation, and reporting services for homeowners, contractors, property owners, landlords, property managers, buyers, and project teams.
Services may include asbestos inspections and surveys, asbestos testing and sampling, mold assessments, remediation planning, post-remediation verification, indoor environmental screening, moisture evaluation, thermal screening, laboratory coordination, and related documentation.
The exact services provided depend on the requested service, agreed scope, property conditions, accessibility, applicable licensing requirements, and other project-specific factors.
Service Area
Inside Diagnostics provides services by appointment throughout Westchester County, Putnam County, Dutchess County, Rockland County, and Orange County, New York.
Availability, travel, scheduling, pricing, and the ability to accept a project may depend on the property location, requested service, project scope, accessibility, timing, and other relevant conditions.
Laboratory Testing and Third-Party Analysis
Certain services may involve samples submitted to qualified third-party laboratories for analysis. Laboratory methods, reporting formats, detection limits, turnaround times, and testing requirements may vary depending on the material or sample, requested analysis, laboratory workload, delivery conditions, and other factors outside the direct control of Inside Diagnostics.
Inside Diagnostics does not guarantee laboratory processing times, analytical outcomes, property conditions, or that a particular test result will be obtained.
Service Scope and Limitations
Inspections, assessments, testing, sampling, screening, measurements, photographs, and reports are limited to the specific service requested, the agreed project scope, the areas or materials evaluated, the methods used, and the property conditions present at the time of service.
A report should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a property, structure, room, or work area is free of asbestos, mold, moisture, environmental concerns, hazardous materials, or other conditions that were not specifically evaluated as part of the agreed scope.
Concealed, inaccessible, covered, hidden, intermittent, or undisclosed materials and conditions may not be identified during an inspection, assessment, or screening. Additional investigation or testing may be appropriate if conditions change, materials are uncovered, or the project scope expands.
No report should be understood as a general property clearance, safety certification, environmental certification, or guarantee of conditions beyond the stated service and documented scope.
Environmental Screening Limitations
Environmental screening services are intended to document observations, measurements, and conditions within the stated scope at the time of the visit. Screening may include particle measurements, moisture readings, thermal observations, or similar non-destructive evaluation methods.
Screening results do not identify the chemical, biological, or material composition of individual airborne particles and do not replace laboratory analysis, mold assessment, asbestos inspection, engineering evaluation, HVAC evaluation, or other specialized services when those services are appropriate.
Environmental conditions may vary over time because of occupancy, ventilation, outdoor conditions, cleaning activities, construction, equipment operation, weather, and other factors.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate property information, access details, known concerns, project scope, deadlines, contractor requests, renovation or demolition plans, remediation information, and other relevant information needed to evaluate and perform the requested service.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that Inside Diagnostics has lawful permission to enter the property, inspect the requested areas, take photographs and measurements, and collect samples when included in the agreed scope.
Inside Diagnostics is not responsible for undisclosed conditions, hidden materials, inaccessible areas, inaccurate information, changes in property conditions, changes in project scope, or decisions made outside the stated service and reporting scope.
Property Access and Sampling
Certain inspection or testing services may require collection of building material, surface, air, or other environmental samples. Building material sampling may require removal of a small portion of the material being evaluated.
The client understands that material sampling may result in minor cosmetic damage, marks, openings, or changes to the sampled area.
Unless specifically agreed in writing, Inside Diagnostics does not perform permanent repairs, painting, refinishing, reconstruction, waterproofing, roofing repair, or restoration of sampled areas.
Inspection, sampling, or evaluation may be declined, limited, or postponed when an area is unsafe, inaccessible, actively under construction, contaminated, structurally unstable, located at an unsafe height, or otherwise unsuitable for evaluation.
Independent Assessment — No Remediation Work
Inside Diagnostics provides independent inspection, assessment, testing, sampling, screening, planning, verification, documentation, and reporting services.
Inside Diagnostics does not perform asbestos abatement, mold remediation, demolition, construction, cleanup, reconstruction, or other corrective contracting work associated with conditions evaluated through its diagnostic services.
A remediation plan or recommendation prepared by Inside Diagnostics describes proposed objectives or procedures for work to be performed by appropriately qualified third parties. It does not mean that Inside Diagnostics will perform the remediation work.
Post-Remediation Verification
Post-remediation verification evaluates conditions within the agreed scope at the time of the verification visit. Verification may include visual observations, moisture measurements, sampling, or other methods appropriate to the requested service.
A post-remediation verification report applies only to the areas, conditions, and criteria evaluated. It does not guarantee future conditions or conditions in concealed, inaccessible, or excluded areas.
Reports and Use of Results
Reports, laboratory results, remediation plans, screening reports, assessment documentation, and other written materials are prepared for the client and the stated project scope.
They may be shared with contractors, remediation professionals, property professionals, consultants, laboratories, government agencies, or other project participants at the client's direction.
Inside Diagnostics is not responsible for alterations, summaries, interpretations, omissions, representations, or decisions made by third parties after a report, plan, or laboratory result has been issued.
Website Use
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Inside Diagnostics LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, lost-profit, delay-related, or property-related damages resulting from use of this website, inspection or assessment services, testing, sampling, screening, reports, laboratory results, third-party services, undisclosed conditions, concealed materials, or decisions made based on information provided.
Any service-specific limitations, responsibilities, payment terms, dispute provisions, or liability terms contained in a signed proposal, service agreement, authorization, consent, or contract will control if they differ from these general website terms.
Appointments and Communication
By contacting Inside Diagnostics, submitting a form, calling, texting, or requesting services, you consent to communication by phone, text message, or email regarding inquiries, scheduling, appointments, project scope, inspections, assessments, laboratory coordination, reports, invoices, payments, and requested services.
Appointment availability and estimated turnaround times are not guaranteed until the service scope, scheduling requirements, and applicable terms have been confirmed.
Updates to These Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated periodically. Revisions become effective when the updated terms are posted on this website. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
